He leads acclaimed New Orleans funk band the big smoke family - regulars at London’s Ronnie Scott’s, Pizza Express Soho and favourites on New Orleans biggest radio station Wwoz.
Roy is also a founding member of the Cosimo Matassa project - a band dedicated to 1950 New Orleans rhythm ’n’ blues and playing music by artists such as fats domino, Smily Lewis and Dr John.
